Weldon Ryan Carnival Series

This is the second painting I created in this series. It’s of the West Indian American Carnival Day Parade Brooklyn, NY in 2002 Children’s Carnival. I was captured by the image of these three girls parading in green. I had to interpret the dream like mood they created amongst the festivities.
